Your goal is to use data and analytics to help stakeholders across supply chain organization to make key business decisions that further our mission. - You’ll also be working closely with leaders in end-to-end supply chain functions across demand forecasting, inventory, EO, procurement, manufacturing, logistics, quality and customer fulfillment. You will develop and lead a supply chain strategy team and also contribute to the overall analytics and business I/T and transformation community within Lenovo. You will be providing mentoring and leadership across the matrix that offers effective reporting, insight and analysis for multiple stakeholders. - Successful candidates will possess deep analytical capabilities, strong communication skills, and robust experience with supply chain operations. Additionally, they will demonstrate the ability to collaborate with different functions, focus on achieving practical business impact and work at both working team and exec levels. - As Supply Chain Analytics Director, you will be responsible for: - Developing strategic solutions to enhance Lenovo’s supply chain operations via business intelligence, descriptive analytics and predictive analytics - Driving cross-functional projects, working closely together with colleagues within department and other Lenovo teams (e.g. supply chain, IT, sales) - Leading Lenovo’s supply chain to become fully digital - Instilling analytics solutions into day-to-day BMS in supply chain operations - Establishing, growing and maintaining data analytics related tools, information base and processes -Actively working with analytics vendors (especially in supply chain) to build out capabilities in supply chain analytics and eventually migrate in-house - Assisting with the development skill set of a multi-disciplinary team to become key decision influencers - This position will be based in the Raleigh, NC - Research Triangle Park area of NC Position Requirements: The following experience is required to be considered for the position: - Bachelor or Master degree in IT related disciplines - Deep understanding in industry Supply Chain domains. - Be familiar with supply chain future development, transformation direction. - Management skill and experience: - Business management and team management experiences in a global organization required - 10+ years management experience in supply chain domain required Preferred skills/abilities: - Plan and conduct complex negotiations reaching lasting agreements and commitments. - Analyze complex/new situations, anticipate potential problems and future trends, assess opportunities, impacts and risks. Good interpersonal, communication, presentation, and supervisory skills.
